NADA Auto Show 2023: Neta S Electric Sedan Showcased

The Neta S electric sedan has also been showcased at the ongoing NADA Auto Show 2023. The S is Neta’s first sedan, currently, the Chinese carmaker sells two electric SUVs (U and V) and a mid-size electric sportscar (GT). CG Motors, the sole authorised distributor of Hozon Auto in Nepal, has also showcased the Neta GT and the Neta U Pro electric SUV at this year's show.

In the Chinese market, the Neta S pure electric version comes with three range options. The first is a rear-wheel drive with a range of 715 km, the second gets a four-wheel drive setup with a 650 km driving range, while the standard trim has a 520 km range capacity.  The four-wheel drive trim is the most powerful with a peak power of 340 kW, and max torque of 620 Nm. It can also accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The Neta S is 4.80 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.90 meters. The sedan is two meters wide and 1.40 meters high. This makes the vehicle slightly larger than a Tesla Model 3. The interior of the Neta S features an advanced intelligent cockpit with a large 17.6-inch central touchscreen, allowing the driver to receive important information via the minimalist display located behind the steering wheel or from the AR head-up display.

Additionally, the front passenger also has an exclusive 12.3-inch passenger infotainment screen. Additional highlights of the Neta S include heated and ventilated massage seats, as well as headrest speakers, with a further 21 speakers installed throughout the car. With 13 cameras, twelve ultrasonic sensors, five radar sensors and two lidar units, the Neta S is said to be Level 4 capable when it comes to autonomous driving.
